This is where it all begins, where you join us on the first step of our journey together. You'll meet your friendly expert guide and we'll get the formalities out of the way quickly so that we can get out there and start enjoying the safari you've been dreaming of.

Nairobi is a wonderfully dynamic city and your gateway to so much that is good about Kenya. It has its very own wildlife attractions, as well as museums and other fascinating windows onto modern and historical Kenyan life. The city is also known for its vibrant shopping, restaurant and nightlife scenes.

Masai Mara National Reserve

We think you'll love the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the best places to watch wildlife anywhere in Kenya. You're almost guaranteed to see plenty of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas. With so many impalas, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and other prey species here, as well as over 500 bird species, you'll see plenty of safari action. Black rhinos are possible in the Mara Triangle. Also everywhere are elephants, giraffes and hippos, and everyone who visits falls in love with the Masai Mara's classic safari landscapes.

It's easy to fall for Basecamp Masai Mara, with its riverside location and proximity to some of the biggest concentrations of wildlife that the Mara has to offer. Many of the luxurious safari tents have private decks that overlook the Talek River, and the dining and bar area is similarly good. The camp also boasts strong credentials when it comes to sustainability, and it has deep connections with the local Maasai.

Diani Beach

You'll find it's easy to fall in love with Diani Beach, one of Kenya's most beautiful beaches. Pristine sands backed by palm forests make this one of our favorite spots along the Indian Ocean coast, and there are coral mosques, a monkey sanctuary, and a cool beachside vibe to go with the fabulous views.
