Kenya's capital is your gateway to the national parks and reserves where you'll enjoy your safari. Nairobi is a dynamic, intriguing city, rich in local culture. It has a number of wildlife-themed attractions to help get you excited about what lies ahead. Nairobi also has wonderful restaurants serving a range of cuisines, as well as good nightlife, busy markets and excellent accommodation.

Visit, The Giraffe Centre

Visit Nairobi's Giraffe Centre and enjoy coming face-to-face with endangered Rothschild's giraffes. There's some serious conservation work going on here as well, with giraffes from here being translocated to support rare wild populations.

Amboseli National Park

It's time for you to explore Amboseli National Park, which is one of Kenya's best parks. While you're here, you'll be unable to take your eyes off Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m): Africa's highest mountain might be in Tanzania, but the best views of the mountain are from Amboseli. It's a fantastic park for wildlife too. There aren't many places in Kenya where you can get this close to elephants, and the park is also good for lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, wildebeest, giraffes and more. And every time the clouds clear on the mountain's summit, you'll want to line up a photo of these animals with Mt Kilimanjaro in the background.

Come and enjoy all that Amboseli has to offer on a guided game drive this afternoon. Elephants, big cats and Mt Kilimanjaro views are all possible as you explore the park with an expert guide.

Come and see the best of Amboseli National Park as we take you out on a guided game drive. It really is a terrific way to feel a part of Africa with the wind in your hair as we drive you around to look for animals.

At Sentrim Amboseli Lodge you can enjoy one of the best locations anywhere in the Amboseli region. You're close to the national park's eastern gate, and you can admire fabulous Mt Kilimanjaro views whenever the clouds clear over the summit. In addition to the rooms and safari tents, the lodge has an inviting swimming pool, bar and restaurant.

Tsavo West National Park

Exploring Tsavo West means getting to know one of Kenya's largest wilderness areas. It's a land of elephants caked in red Tsavo dust, maneless lions, and plenty of other wildlife that might include rhino, hippo, leopard, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe and zebra. Tsavo West has also recorded more than 400 different bird species, and you might just fall in love with the dramatic scenery too.

Lunch is always a highlight, so relax and enjoy our food.

Afternoon

You'll drive around Tsavo West on a guided game drive this afternoon. Your guide will show you the beautiful landscapes and help you look for elephants, big cats and rhinos.

You'll be joining us in Tsavo West National Park for a guided game drive. It's a fantastic opportunity to see some of the animals you came so far to see.

Severin Safari Camp

In a corner of Tsavo West National Park all its own, Severin Safari Camp is a welcoming camp that gets all of the important things right. There's a swimming pool, massage area and gym tent, and the large, stone-floored safari tents are excellent. You can sometimes see lions or elephants wander through camp while enjoying a drink or a meal.
